Margie is a yoga teacher, Naturopath, nurse and has always had an interest in what promotes health and vitality - how we can care for ourselves and our loved ones supported with food, herbs, essential oils, teas, movement, connection with nature.

Hello everyone,
Spring is about to be Sprung! Many of you will be so happy about this. Some who have allergy concerns maybe not so much. This is a time of emergence from a lovely long, cold, wet winter and now we get to turn our faces to the sun. To luxuriate in the
moist, warm qualities of this season that promotes new growth, lushness, abundance, colour, lightness, joy.
A time we often think to Spring clean our homes - we know how good it feels when we clear out the pantry or wardrobe - energy flows more freely.
A great time to think of doing the same for our minds, our bodies, our spirit!
Lots of people have been telling me lately they are feeling sluggish, a bit blah!, aches and pains, slow digestion with bloating, skin breakouts, catching too many colds, getting headaches, noticing their allergies are worse, Fatigued, stuck!
Can you relate? Just like that messy corner in your house that needs a bit of work & effort to tidy, you need a regular pause to reset, to clear out what you don’t need, to remember what it feels like to be clear, energetic, resilient, vital, pain free, in flow, vibrant in your wellbeing.
Our bodies have natural detoxification pathways, these work really well until they don’t! Our world these days, is so full of toxic substances, pesticides, off gassing from new clothes and furniture, perfumes and deodorants, pesticides, mould, on our food and sprayed around our parks, electromagnetic radiation from phone towers, our phones and computers, electrical appliances, pollution, processed food. All of these we never experienced until the last 100 years and mostly not until the last 30 years. Our Evolution can’t change in 30 years. All of this takes its toll on our physical and mental wellbeing.
What we can do - is take responsibility for supporting our own health and wellbeing. To me this is the most important thing we can do for ourselves - it is easy to put that responsibility out to doctors, health care workers, natural health practitioners etc – and these are all good resources. Ultimately though, it is up to us - our own efforts will make the difference - in how we sleep tonight, how we feel when we get out of bed tomorrow, how we recover if we do get sick, how we feel in a year, 5 years, 10 years.
This is why I regularly - Autumn and Spring - put myself thru a cleanse program. I have done this for many years now and truly reap the benefits. Often, I don’t feel like doing it - if I waited to feel like doing it - it probably wouldn’t happen. What I do find is that once I start - a day or 2 in, I am all in and enthusiastic and so glad to be putting in the effort. I have run these programs every so often in the past and now it is well and truly time to run the Spring Cleanse again.
This Cleanse will be simple (I’ve found this works best), no complicated ingredients, simple recipes, a manual with lots of instruction, recipes, guidance for before, during and after the cleanse.
I will run a private Facebook group where I will post lots of helpful info around the cleanse and other practises that you can implement during the cleanse if you want
There is no rigidity - you can navigate it all in your own way and can ask me all the questions
I will provide some simple 5 min videos of Breathing and Meditation practises you can use as adjuncts to the process if you wish
