Winter Restorative Immersion @ myoga

Thursday July 13, 6 – 7.45pm

Take space from the busyness of your daily routine, slow down, pause and be in the moment.

Join Jasmine for a mid-week immersion to detach from the stresses and distractions of day-to-day living and practice being more present.

Restorative Yoga is a series of supported yoga poses with the use of props to support the body. With the body in a comfortable and supported position the poses can be held longer than traditional asana, giving the body more time to release deeply stored tension. More time in the posture and the sound and vibration used throughout the session will engage the parasympathetic nervous system and allow the body to unwind and release deeply stored tension.

During times of busyness and stress our nervous system can become stuck in an activated state leading to anxiety, chronic stress and fatigue. A restorative practice will bring us out of the sympathetic state (flight/fight/freeze) and re-engage the relaxation response, creating a more balanced and flexible nervous system.

It can be highly beneficial for those experiencing anxiety, burnout, depression, insomnia and post-covid fatigue.

Your investment: $35
