A Weekend of Iyengar Yoga for Winter Vitality


As the season draws inward, so can we — toward the fire of our own clarity, strength, and balance.

Join me for three supportive Iyengar yoga classes over one winter weekend at the Beacon Yoga Centre. With skilful sequencing, chest-opening poses, supported inversions, and focused breathwork, we’ll help the body rest, restore, and renew — so you can meet winter with a steadier spirit and stronger system.

🧘‍♀️ 3 sessions across 2 days
🗓️ Saturday July 12 (9:30 – 11:30 am + 3 – 5 pm)
🗓️ Sunday July 13 (9:30 – 11 am, followed by lunch if you like!)

Peter Scott | 2025 workshop

Peter Scott is coming to Perth again in August, 2025!

I’ve been studying online and in person with Pete since August 2020. He has been integral in my development as a training teacher of Iyengar yoga and a champion supporter of my pathway towards a successful Level 3 assessment.

His instruction is rich, clear and offers a coherent pathway through the Iyengar syllabi. We’re all richer (students, teachers and their communities) for his sharp eye. His knowledge and attention to detail is second to none - a true master!

Restore + Reset

The Emotional Stability Sequence, written by B.K.S. Iyengar, is a beautiful set of fifteen supported asana designed to nurture your emotional well-being. When done regularly, well (and with a little love), this sequence can work wonders!

The key is working well! The body needs to know the postures—really know them. Props aren’t there for collapsing into; while they support and replace the effort, the integrity of the asana remains as if the props weren’t even there. Every part of the body is alive and engaged in the pose, with the props offering just a little helping hand along the way.

It’s not the easiest thing to carve out two hours for quiet, restorative practice on your own. That’s why group practice is such a gift! Coming together in a shared space creates a supportive, encouraging atmosphere. Will you join me?
